The Station House is a great place to pop in for bite to eat with friends or family, and stay for a few drinks too.
Situated adjacent to the Town Hall, it’s fast becoming an essential place to go when visiting Henley on Thames.
The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and friendly, it becomes apparent that the ethos “everyone is welcome” is working with the eclectic mix generated in the daily flow through the Station House doors. The Station House is a lot bigger than anticipated when entering from outside. But don’t be fooled, it can cater for large parties of up to 60 people.
Our kitchen is always bustling as all the food is freshly made on the premises. The menu style is a medley of small plates using the phrase “English tapas”, as well as larger plates and pub classics too. Head Chef, Marianne Wit is a seasoned chef and designs her menu by adding tried and tested recipes. Marianne also bakes her own fresh bread and cakes every day, which are becoming very popular with regular foodies.
The menu lends itself easily to large parties with small plates arriving continuously, a sense of a banquet or feast takes hold of the table. We can do large plates for bespoke parties and price accordingly as well.
Dog and family friendly, the different areas can accommodate all, including enough space for our local pooches which are cared for as much as their owners. The chef often makes her doggie treats and is popular among our four legged friends.
Whether it’s for a table of two or a party of over 20, the Station House is the perfect place for socialising in a relaxed atmosphere.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
